South Tyrol Italy

Bags are packed for tomorrow's flight to Chicago with Lily and here I sit on the couch watching French Open while going through pictures from last week's trip to Italy.  Munich is experiencing a crazy constant downpour of rain and we didn't head south enough to escape it all but enough to still very much enjoy the getaway.  We spent the week in one of the most hospitable hotels I've stayed in, Hotel Tyrol, in Santa Maddalena Italy.    Nate's parents and friends of ours with their 1 year old daughter joined us as well.  The Dolomites mountain range are stunning.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.  After being cold and wet for way too long now, really hope Chicago brings some sunny weather our way.

Checking out Brixen about 20 minutes away
Got a chance for some alone time with Elise.

Best family pic of a hike we took.  As long as we kept Lily engaged with talking about whatever, she did really well hiking without complaining.
Highest we made it up.  Proud of our family hike
